Join Ken Himes and Sheila Colby as they lead a hike along trails through redwood forests and their understory, marveling at their diversity. The specific trail will be determined on the day of the hike, depending upon weather and trail conditions.
Meet at 10am at the parking lot at the park entrance kiosk. The park entrance fee is $10. Dress in layers according to the weather. Bring snacks, lunch and liquids; and hiking sticks if you need them on potentially slippery trails.
Directions: Butano State Park is about 5 miles south of the town of Pescadero. Take Cloverdale Rd. to Butano State Park. For more information contact Ken at (650) 591-8560 or Sheila at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
