If weeds had a tattoo it would be “misunderstood” ̶ in bold print and colors. A weed to one is a medicine to another. And the word weed has such a negative connotation. It is as if we need to degrade them before we eradicate them. Spend some time with Frank Niccoli to learn why weeds should have a name change. Frank Niccoli has been a gardener for over 50 years and is the past president of the founding chapter of the California Landscape Contractors Association. He was voted Member of the Year by his peers in 2001 and 2004. He has written the curriculum and teaches numerous classes at Foothill College.
