DESCRIPTION:<div class="jev_evdt_desc"><p class="p1">Come help us weed non-native, inva
 sive plants at this&nbsp;natural gem of San Jose. Our habitat restoration e
 fforts&nbsp;allow the native plants to “come to light.”&nbsp;Our workdays t
 ake place every<span>&nbsp;</span><b>Monday and Wednesday&nbsp;</b><b>at 8:
 30 am</b>, and on the<span>&nbsp;</span><b>second Saturday morning</b><span
 >&nbsp;</span>of each&nbsp;month. No experience is necessary. All tools and
 &nbsp;instruction will be provided. Please bring a filled water&nbsp;bottle
 , snacks, sunscreen, sunhat and insect repellent if you&nbsp;need it; wear 
 trail/off-trail footwear, long pants and a long-sleeved shirt.</p><p class=
 "p1">Lately we have been clearing weeds that grew extra tall as a&nbsp;resu
 lt of last spring’s abundant rainfall. We have also&nbsp;started some pruni
 ng for fire mitigation. The City of San&nbsp;Jose cannot fully staff their 
 parks even to keep the trails&nbsp;clear of non-native thistles, so there i
 s plenty of work for&nbsp;project volunteers. New volunteers are welcome!</
 p><p class="p1">Forms and<span>&nbsp;</span><b>reservations</b><span>&nbsp;
