 "><p>Join us for an in-person talk by Angela Moskow. Angela will begin her 
 presentation with an overview of the importance of native oaks for Californ
 ia’s biodiversity. Then she’ll discuss how historic oak maps can inform oak
  restoration and provide an overview of the importance of native oaks for C
 alifornia’s biodiversity.</p><p>Angela’s presentation will then shift to th
 e work of the 72-member California Oaks Coalition, an initiative of the Cal
 ifornia Wildlife Foundation, which brings together international, national,
  Tribal, state, regional, and local organizations to conserve and perpetuat
 e the state’s primary old growth resource. This part of the presentation wi
 ll focus on collaborations between California Wildlife Foundation’s Califor
 nia Oaks program and the California Native Plant Society, a member of the c
 oalition.</p><p>Angela Moskow manages the California Oaks program at Califo
 rnia Wildlife Foundation. The foundation is committed to conserving, restor
 ing and maintaining habitats and corridor linkages to ensure biological div
 ersity.</p><p>The California Oaks program works to conserve and perpetuate 
 the state’s primary old growth resource through the publication and dissemi
 nation of informational resources about oaks, preparation of comment letter
 s about projects with oak impacts and advocacy for stronger local and state

 ntal Studies and Philosophy from Oberlin College and a Master of Science in

 rom the highway exit, there will be a two-lane left turn for West Valley Co
 llege at Fruitvale Ave. Proceed through this intersection in the right lane
