Over the past 2.5 years we have come up with a new format that seems to work wel l. Our programs have usually consisted of a slide presentation about a grou p of plants and some of their characteristics used for identification. We a lso bring in plant samples from that group of plants so that participants c an look at them and see the features that have been presented. There are a small group of people who have helped with these presentations including To m Lee, Bruce Homer-Smith, Janet Hoffmann, Joe Cernac and Stella Yang.\nTo k eep this up, we are looking for people to help with planning future present ations and collecting plant samples. We have a collection of PowerPoint sli de shows for several plant groups that presenters can use or modify for the ir presentations. Any other suggestions that you have for ways that we migh t modify and continue Plant ID sessions would also be appreciated.\nFor Jul y, instead of our usual Native Plant ID meeting, we will have a planning me eting.
