SUMMARY:Growing Natives Garden Tour 2025
LOCATION:Santa Clara County and southern San Mateo County
DESCRIPTION:
The Growing Natives Garden Tour (GNGT) is a free, self-guided
tour of gardens within our Chapter area that feature a minimum of 70%
California native plants. Sign up to tour the gardens or volunteer as
a docent or greeter! Or consider becoming the coordinator for our yea
r-round Garden Previews.

All are welcome to tou
r the gardens in this, our 23rd Annual GNGT, but advance registration
is required to receive garden addresses. These tour gardens are attrac
tive, water-wise, and low maintenance. They also use a minimum of
chemicals and provide habitat havens for birds, butterflies and polli
nators. California’s native plant gardens increase wildlife corridors
in fragmented habitats, preserve our natural ecosystem and promote bio
diversity in our built environments. They help restore nature, one&nbs
p;garden at a time! Native plant tours provide inspiration and informa
tion for native gardeners, designers, and growers.

Over 50
of our home and public gardens landscaped with California native plan
ts will be open to the public for in-person tours on Saturday, April 12
and Sunday, April 13, from 10:00am to 4:00pm. On Saturday,
registered visitors may tour the gardens in these southern Chap
ter locations: Alviso, Campbell, Cupertino, Gilroy, Los Gatos, Morgan&
nbsp;Hill, San Jose, Santa Clara and Saratoga. On Sunday, registered v
isitors may tour the gardens in these northern Chapter location
s: Los Altos Hills, Mountain View, Menlo Park, Palo Alto, Portola Vall
ey, Redwood City, Belmont, San Mateo, Hillsborough and Sunnyvale.
<

;online anytime at www.gngt.org, which has a page f
